Our earthly father has a special position/role in our families just like our mothers. Sometimes our earthly fathers have abdicated, knowingly or unknowingly, their father gate/position and heavenly calling to set the example for their children of how to trust others and help form a healthy identity in their children. When, for whatever reason, the father gate/position as the spiritual covering of their family is missing, their children can adopt broken identities such as feelings of loss, hurt, abandoned, worthless, betrayal, fear, unlovable, and others. The renunciation below is for anyone at any age whose earthly fathers abdicated their special position in the family so healing can take place. Blessings of Wholeness in Yeshua Jesus’ name. Abdication of the Father’s Gate Prayer (Absent Father Position in the home and outside of the home)
 
Father God, I understand that to abdicate the father’s gate means that my father, as the spiritual covering over my family, resigned/renounced/relinquished his position of stewardship in my family and knowingly or unknowingly shirked/abandoned/or failed to fulfill his obligation to me as his child. I understand that I did not receive a healthy identity that comes from a father’s position of authority in the home that models love, support, caring, honor, and protection for his child. Instead, I often experienced him full of “self” and not giving me what I needed when he was tired, worn out, or exhausted. I know that “good fathers” model selflessness-that is giving themselves to the point of sacrifice for their children. Whether my father was physically present in my home or out of our home due to divorce/separation/death, emotionally, or whatever, I was left with a broken identity-feelings of loss, unlovable, betrayal, worthless, abandoned, fear, and my trust of others was also broken. 

I reject and renounce any unclean strongmen who stepped into my father’s abdicated gate/position in my bloodlines going all the way back to Adam and pre-Adamic generations, including Asmodeus, Lilith, Athaliah, Jezebel, Azazel, Apollyon, Abaddon, Leviathan, and the Queen of Heaven in Yeshua Jesus’ name. I reject their operating in my life today and ask that You would replace all unrighteous elders over my bloodlines with righteous elders over my bloodlines in Yeshua Jesus’ name.

Today, I repent on behalf of all the fathers in my bloodlines who abdicated their godly positions as the spiritual covering over our families. On their behalf, I ask their children to forgive them. I choose to forgive my father for not being present (physically, emotionally, or otherwise) and not being the godly model of how to have intimacy with You, Father God, and to trust. 

Father God, I ask You to fill and heal that vacancy in our souls. At each place where the fathers in my bloodlines abdicated their positions, I ask that You would restore all those broken relationships and hearts and spread the healing Balm of Gilead over myself and any ancestors who were deeply hurt in Yeshua Jesus’ name. I ask You,
Father God, to fill us up with the Joy of the Lord and fruit of Holy Spirit and make us whole in our spirit, soul, and body in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Jesus. Thank You. Amen

Recently, a friend and I completed the 40 Days of Blessing Your Human Spirit by Sylvia Gunter and Arthur Burk (2005). At the end of the book, the authors gave its readers a challenge to write our own spirit blessings. I am sharing below what Father God led me to write. I now challenge each of you to write your own spirit blessings. Put your name (_____’s spirit). You will get more out of this exercise than you could have ever imagined! Enjoy the experience. Blessings for Myself, My Family, and Those I am called to Minister To:

 

Shirley’s spirit, I call your human spirit to attention in the name of Yehovah Elohim, Creator God. Listen to His word in Jeremiah 1: 18-19, “Today, I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar, and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land-against the kings of Judah, its officiates, its priests and the people of the land. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the Lord.” (NIV). I call on Yehovah Elohim (Creator Father God, Yeshua Jesus-the Son, and Holy Spirit) as one who are your intimate partners on this earth to walk with you as you carry out your earth assignments written in your book of life before the world began.

 

Shirley’s spirit, Yehovah Elohim has created and made you to be a fortified city as in the days of old just like Jerusalem, the capital of King David. I declare that you are strong, stable, immovable, and cannot be breached by the lies of the enemy Satan and the dark kingdom. I declare that you are designed as an iron pillar and an extremely strong bronze wall who will obey Father Elohim’s commands in times of adversities that will come your way. Yehovah Elohim covers you and has equipped you with strategic, defensive protection of His word/doctrines in warfare against His enemies and your enemies. I declare that you have His divine protection because Yehovah Elohim lives in you. You are a fortified city, a strong pillar, and a strong bronze wall in the Mighty name of Yeshua Jesus. Amen.

 

Shirley’s spirit, you are called upon by Yehovah Elohim to interact with your community (the body of Christ, including your family and others) in your sphere of influence. In this, you are called to stand steadfastly against corrupt, evil, and unholy teachings/doctrines/actions/power/authority of your city, state, nation, and world governmental officials, religious, and individual leaders in prayer on your knees and otherwise as led by Yehovah Elohim. I am reminded of Father God’s word in Mark 8:36, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (KJV). I declare that you will not compromise via worldly and fleshly desires to attain what the world offers and totally miss out on all the beautiful benefits of being Yehovah Elohim’s child. He is worth much more! Eternal value and intimate relationship with Him definitely outweighs temporary wealth, contentment, power, and pleasures that the world can provide!

 

Shirley’s spirit, as you carry out your earth assignment given to you by Yehovah Elohim, the enemy will use many tactics, including people to fight against you in many ways: lies about you and your assignment/ministry; betrayal from those you trusted; witchcraft demonic curses sent against you; lies sent to your mind to act as hindrances and distractions. Their purpose is to keep you from walking out your work assignment. There will be many other tactics and strategies to de-rail you from pursuing and completing your earth assignment for Yehovah Elohim’s kingdom of Light. But always keep your eyes on Him and never forget that Yehovah Elohim promised that when fighters come against you, they will not prevail/win/be successful/or overcome you because Father God, Yeshua Jesus, and Holy Spirit are with you and will never leave you, and they will rescue/deliver you from any attacks and snares. I declare that you will pray and believe all that Father God has for you in Psalm 91. Yehovah Elohim is your shield and fortress/refuge and guides you, leads you, and protects you, bringing you to greater faith and trust in Him that gives you stability. I declare that you will keep His promises in your heart always. I thank Yehovah Elohim in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Jesus. Amen.

 

Shirley’s spirit, I bless you with love, joy, peace, intimacy with Father God, Yeshua Jesus, and Holy Spirit. I bless you with memories of loved ones that are encouraging with no guilt, remorse, or self-condemnation attached to them but only memories full of Joy. I bless you with strength and faith to walk out your destiny calling hand in hand with Yehovah Elohim. I bless you to know and accept who you are in Yeshua Jesus as His ambassador, minister of reconciliation, high priestess after the order of Melchizedek, and fulfillment of your earth assignment and tasks with this knowledge. I bless you with knowing more of the depth of Father God’s Love for you. I bless you with excellent health and with helpers Abba has sent and will send alongside you to help you as He enlarges your tent. I bless all these helpers with abundance that Father God has ordained for them to have. I bless your family with all blessings from heaven that Father God has for them. I bless your ministry partners and their families with all good things from heaven, and I bless all those in your community. I bless you with the Joy of the Lord and Fruit of Holy Spirit. I bless you with the Goodness and Mercy of Father God to follow you all the days of your life and finally dwelling with you in your beautiful mansion Father has already prepared for you. I bless you with resuming your pre-Adamic post as you are no longer a victim of strongmen who have been already judged and casted out and your spirit has been reconciled with your soul and body and now can work in unity. I bless you with knowing the mind of Christ Jesus and experiencing all the blessings and benefits of your birthright inheritance in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Jesus. Amen
